Danielle Alejandra Garcia-Ramirez

Danielle supports Safe Water Network’s management teams in coordinating longer-term goals across functions and geographies, and advancing the organization’s Five-Year Plan.

Danielle’s international program development and water sector engagement experience allow her to support Safe Water Network’s various management teams and advance the organization’s long-term strategic goals. This experienced was honed at the World Bank’s Water Practice, where she was responsible for: co-managing a $54 million water sector multi-donor trust fund that finances technical assistance across regions and water sub-sectors; and conducting portfolio reviews and internal resource assessments to advise senior leadership teams. Prior to the World Bank, Danielle had worked and collaborated with a wide range of actors in different countries, including international development agencies, scientific organizations, and governments.

Danielle holds an MSc in Political Economy from the University of Essex (U.K.), and a B.A. in International Relations.
