Dr. Kwabena Nyarko
He is currently the Lead Researcher for the WASHCost project that is researching the life cycle cost for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) service delivery to stimulate the use of cost information in the WASH sector in Ghana and Sierra Leone.
His research work is on economics, impact and sustainability of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene. Dr Nyarko has over sixty publications to his credit in briefing notes, working papers, book chapters, conference proceedings and peer reviewed journals. He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Kumasi, Ghana and MSC in Sanitary Engineering from UNESCO-IHE Delft, The Netherlands and a PhD in Development Studies from UNESCO-IHE/Institute of Social Studies in the Netherlands
